Security Deposit

East and West Zones:3 months

North Zone: 2 months

South Zone:6 months

These security deposits are the maximum ceiling for each region, ensuring affordability and flexibility for franchisees.

Store Location and Specifications

Minimum Carpet Area:400 sq. ft.

Minimum Frontage Area:15 ft.

Minimum Height:10 ft (beam bottom 9 ft)

Floor Requirement: Only ground floor

Preferred Location: High street, residential areas, or shopping malls

Preferred Store Type: Corner shops are preferred for better visibility.

Lease and Rental Details

Lease Terms

Lock in Period:6 months

Lease Tenure: 15 years (12 years in special cases)

Lease Type: Only registered leases are applicable, and the cost of registration is shared between the landlord and Lenskart.

Rent Free Period

Stores < 1000 sq. ft.: 60 days rent free

Stores > 1000 sq. ft: 90 days rent free

Site Qualification and Evaluation

They have a stringent site qualification process to ensure the best locations for stores. Requirements for the same:

Catchment area videos and photos (inside and outside the store)

Details of nearby brands (e.g., Bata, Jockey, Go Colors, Dominos, KFC, The Body Shop, Titan Eye, Scarters)

Catchment analysis and rental benchmarking proofs

Once a property is shared, they will confirm within 7 days if it will be further evaluated. If selected, additional details will be required for final approval by their regional head and leadership team.
